WordPress Tutorial

WordPress was created by Matthew Charles Mullenweg and first released on May 27, 2003. WordPress is open source Platform or Application which was created to design blogs at starting but now its gone way beyond that. You can create different type of websites and blogs you want. WordPress have become so advanced in its structure and functionality that with it you can make professional websites and blogs. WordPress comes in two different forms i.e. WordPress.com and WordPress.org. WordPress.com is cloud hosting website which provides users free blog and website hosting. On the other hand wordpress.org provides you the application to install onto your on server and run it from there. WordPress.org is also the community of the people who helps each other by providing extensions or application to add more features to your WordPress blog or website (which we call plugins or extensions). You can also download WordPress themes from wordpress.org to make your website look more unique.

In this tutorial series I will try to explain all the steps of designing WordPress blog or website. We will start with cloud hosting and proceeds to hosting WordPress at our own server.
